The Access Grid Room

Information

The purpose of the access grid is to enable high quality video and audio transmission of lectures and seminars between participating universities. In particular several university mathematics and statistics departments make honours course available via the access grid, thus greatly increasing the number and variety of courses available to honours students. (Note that students need to obtain the approval of both the local university and remote university before they can take such a course.)

The School's Access Grid Room is on the eighth floor of Carslaw, Room 829.

Enquiries relating to Access Grid Room usage should be directed to support@maths.usyd.edu.au.

Users may wish to consult some (old and outdated) Maths Gridroom Setup Instructions (pdf file).

Bookings may be made via The AGR Booking Page.
