The Kronecker quiver and affine sl2

In the 80s Drinfel'd discovered a "new presentation" of an affine quantum group, which despite its initially daunting nature proved extremely useful in the study of finite dimensional representations. We will show that, at least in the case of sl2, this presentation can be understood from the perspective of the Hall algebra of the Kronecker quiver.
