Quasi-Hopf algebras and deformations of double Yangians.

    Friday November 16, 12-1pm, Carslaw 375.

We start with the notion of Hopf and quasi-Hopf algebras. We first present a description of the different algebraic structures one can obtain from a Lie algebra (typically sl(N) or affine sl(N)). Apart from the known elliptic-type algebras, the deformed double Yangians appear in the scheme.

We then focus on these latter and emphasize their quasi-triangular quasi-Hopf structure. For such a purpose, the relevant approch appears to be the construction of a Drinfeld twist.
