Abstract:
I will report on recent work on the determination
of p-groups and associated nilpotent Lie rings,
focusing on those of order dividing p^7 for
arbitrary primes p.

In particular I will review the basic algorithm used
and outline the use of  the Baker-Campbell-Hausdorff
formula to relate presentations for the ring and p-group.
