No computing in Maths 7-11am on Sat 12 Apr

There will be

  no Maths computing about 7am-11am on Saturday 12 April

(including no wired network connectivity, no website).

It seems that room 605 will be "handed over" to us on Fri 11 Apr.
If so then I intend to move our servers that are now in 612A to 605 on
the morning of Saturday 12 April. This will cause several interruptions
as each major server is shut down, moved to new location, and rebooted.

Should something "go wrong" then I would try the morning of Sunday 13 Apr.

UPDATE 8:50am Thu 3 Apr

All servers are now working.
(Power was turned back on only about 8am.)

Next work will be to move the servers from 612A to 605
(causing similar, but longer, outage). Any day now!

Update 7am 28 Mar 25:
However... the electrical work was not done. (Some approval document
was missing a signature, so the work was cancelled yesterday afternoon;
though the only room affected by the work was 612A, and we were ready
for the work to proceed.) The work will be done at some later date
(may possibly happen on Thu 3 Apr).

Some electrical work in our server room 612A is scheduled for

  between 6-7am on Friday 28 March

I will need to shut down our servers beforehand, and power them on
after the work is complete. Thus there will be

  no Maths computing about 5am-8am on Fri 28 Mar

(including no wired network connectivity, no website).

The work is to connect power to room 605, to become our new server room,
so 612 can be turned back into office space.
Another (somewhat longer) outage will happen when I relocate the servers
from 612A to 605, hopefully about mid-April; but will be able to do that
work on the morning of some weekend.
