The following computer algebra packages are available on various School systems:

Magma
This computer algebra system, developed by the Computational Algebra Group in the School, is available on the Linux servers via the command magma .

On-line help for Magma is available.

Magma is also available on Samba PCs: run L:\win\bin\magma . Startup of the program may be slow over the network.

Maple
There is a 5-user Maple School site licence for Linux. Use the command maple for a command-line interface (help available via "?") or xmaple for a graphics interface (with a help menu). See the manual pages for maple and mint.

Mathematica
The following licences for Mathematica are available in the School:

The on-line help in the graphics interface mathematica includes the Mathematica book. WRI and the MathSource archive provide information about Mathematica.

REDUCE
We have Reduce (version 4829) available, both CSL and PSL versions, via commands redcsl and redpsl, on the Linuux servers.
